The Vela Cubo Alto garden light, 90 cm high, belongs to the Vela series, which Ramón Esteve, architect and creative director of Vondom, designed as a modular system of clearly proportioned, prismatic volumes. The slender, tall body is illuminated from within and stands in the room as an object of light architecture – a glowing stele that gives paths, terraces, and lounge areas a calm vertical line.

The translucent light body is manufactured in Europe from rotationally molded polyethylene, UV-resistant and weatherproof; the frame is made of aluminum and is available in fifteen colors. The LED technology is designed for outdoor use and is available in several versions – as warm white LED light or as an RGB system with three white tones and nine colors, optionally with cable, battery, or controllable via Wi-Fi. For the RGB versions, the remote control for color change is included in the scope of delivery; for the battery versions, the charging cable is included.

In the garden, on the terrace, or in the lounge, the 90 cm high light becomes an independent light source and a sculptural accent at the same time. Care: Wipe the light body with water and mild detergent; do not immerse electronics and battery and store protected from continuous frost.

Was leistet die Beleuchtung?
Die weiße LED leuchtet mit 3000 Kelvin (warmweiß). Alle netzbetriebenen und akkubetriebenen Varianten sind nach IP65 geschützt und damit für Nassbereiche zugelassen, ausgelegt bis 40 °C Umgebungstemperatur. Zum Lieferumfang der Kabel-Varianten gehört ein 4–5 m langes weißes Kabel mit EU-Stecker. Die RGB-Varianten mit Kabel oder Akku bringen eine Funkfernbedienung (RF433, 10–15 m Reichweite) mit, mit der sich Farben und Weißtöne umschalten lassen. CE, RoHS und UL zertifiziert.

Wie lange hält der Akku?
Der Li-Ion-Akku (12 V) hält je nach Modell 6 bis 8 Stunden. Die Ladezeit beträgt rund 5 Stunden, der Akku ist auf etwa 500 Ladezyklen ausgelegt; das Ladegerät gehört zum Lieferumfang. Auch die Akku-Variante ist nach IP65 geschützt.

Was brauche ich für die Wifi-Steuerung?
Die Wifi-Varianten arbeiten mit einem DMX-1024-Decoder über ein 2,4-GHz-Funksignal. Damit lassen sich mehrere Leuchten gleichzeitig ansteuern. Wichtig: Der Controller selbst ist nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten – wahlweise als Home-WiFi-Controller (kompatibel mit iOS und Android) oder als professioneller DMX-Controller mit XLR-Anschluss.

Wie pflege ich die Vela Cubo Alto Gartenleuchte 90 cm?
