The electric Salento from Unopiù combines the proven awning-parasol construction of the series with motorized operation: The retractable awning extends or retracts silently via remote control. Frame made of galvanized aluminum and Iroko wood slats, 100% acrylic Tempotest fabric - identical to the crank model, but with the convenience of a motor.

Motor and remote control are the primary operating method; a manual crank is available as a backup. Wind stable up to 45 km/h, 300×250 cm in size, adjustable awning incline 5–20 degrees – optionally secured with 10 concrete gravel slabs or ground anchors.
