The strong and warm-toned Corten steel wall is a perfect addition to any garden. The wall creates a little more structure. The wall can also be used to create a sheltered corner or for more privacy. The color of the material is orange-brown and gives the wall a warm and powerful look. This color is created by a natural layer of rust. Another name for Corten steel is weatherproof steel: weather conditions have a positive influence on this wall.

Corten steel is a metal alloy made of iron with added copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium. When the material is exposed to the outside air, it becomes covered with a protective layer of rust over time. This natural layer of rust provides protection against further corrosion. This gives the wall a long lifespan.

·Products should be unpacked immediately upon receipt to prevent moisture from accumulating between the packaging and the product. This can lead to uneven rust spots.

·Make sure that the wall is securely fixed in or on the surface. The walls have a 5 cm edge on both sides at the bottom for fixing to a solid surface.

·The products come without a layer of rust. The rusting process on Corten steel takes about 4-5 months, depending on the weather conditions.

·The rust layer can be sealed by applying Owatrol. This is a penetrating rust inhibitor that forms a protective layer against rust. Owatrol protects the wall and prevents the Corten steel from discoloring.

·During the rusting process, rust water can be released from the product.

·Corten steel should not be exposed to constant moisture.

·Clean the product annually by spraying off coarse dirt with tap water.

·We advise against using Corten steel within 2 km of the coast.

• DANGER: For products that cannot be unloaded over the rear tail lift of the truck due to their length, the customer must unload the pallet themselves over the side wall of the truck upon delivery using their own forklift truck!
