Yes, in the matte finish – it is weatherproof and designed for outdoor use. The lacquered finish is high-gloss and intended exclusively for indoor use.

Which color can be illuminated?
Only in the ice color, and only in the matte finish. The body is translucent there – with all other colors and in the lacquered finish, no lighting is possible.

What is the lighting of the Vases Bank 178 cm, round?
The white LED shines at 3000 Kelvin (warm white). All mains-powered and battery-powered variants are protected according to IP65 and are therefore approved for wet areas, designed for ambient temperatures up to 40 °C. The delivery includes a 4–5 m long white cable with an EU plug. The RGB variants come with a radio remote control (RF433, 10–15 m range), with which colors and shades of white can be switched. CE, RoHS and UL certified.

How long does the battery last?
The Li-Ion battery (12 V) lasts 6 to 8 hours depending on the model. The charging time is around 5 hours, the battery is designed for approximately 500 charging cycles; the charger is included in the delivery. The battery variant is also protected according to IP65.

What do I need for the Wi-Fi control?
The Wi-Fi variants operate with a DMX-1024 decoder via a 2.4-GHz radio signal. This allows several lights to be controlled simultaneously. Important: The controller itself is not included in the delivery – optionally as a Home-WiFi controller (compatible with iOS and Android) or as a professional DMX controller with an XLR connection.

Who designed it?
By José Manuel Ferrero, the designer from Valencia, whose studio was founded in 2003. Ferrero designed the Marquis series for Vondom in addition to Vases; his planter design was awarded the ADCV Prize in bronze.
