The Unopiù Aton floor lamp in large bronze, an exhibition piece, is an outdoor lamp from the Aton collection, made of aluminium with twisted slats. A single bronze example is now for sale, the condition of which we describe in detail below.

Condition of this example

This piece stood exclusively indoors in our studio in Rostock for between six and twelve months – away from rain, frost, UV exposure and outdoor use. There may be some minor signs of wear from being set up and displayed. We are happy to send you photos of the actual example before purchase.

Unopiù has discontinued the Aton series; this is the last example we can supply.

Bronze from top to bottom

The body measures Ø 26 × H 150 cm, creating a slender column of light. Bronze looks different in the evening than at midday: the tone absorbs some of the daylight instead of reflecting it, and even when switched off, the piece remains a subtle addition to the seating area. As terrace lighting, it defines a corner without illuminating the entire garden. Anyone looking for a dark-toned outdoor designer lamp will find exactly this character here.

Aluminium, slats, light

The shade is made of aluminium. Because its slats are twisted relative to one another, the light shines through the gaps between them, casting an irregular pattern of stripes on the ground in front. Suitable for indoors and outdoors

The series is designed for outdoor use, but it also looks just as right in a living space. This example has only ever been indoors and can be placed on the terrace without any additional preparation, for example as a garden lamp next to an armchair or bench.
