Designer: Piergiorgio Cazzaniga

With CTR, Italian designer Piergiorgio Cazzaniga realizes one of his strengths: he combines technical expertise with a seemingly simple design. The frame of the bar stool is made of powder-coated stainless steel tubular profiles that are bent in an uninterrupted line. This requires great craftsmanship, as the corners are straight but the tubular profile remains round. The backrest is attached to the frame at only 2 points, which makes it seem to float. The open woven structure recalls the centuries-old tradition of weaving and offers flexible back support. The seat is covered with a cushion that is water-repellent and easy to remove.
