TERRACOTTA:
Domani´s eigener hochwertiger Ton wird aus einer Kaolinbasis mit besonderen Eigenschaften hergestellt. Beim Brennen verschmilzt der Ton, so dass praktisch keine Wasseraufnahme möglich ist. Domani´s Terrakotta nimmt nicht mehr als 3 bis 4% Wasser auf. Dieser geringe Wasseranteil sorgt dafür, dass unsere Töpfereien frostsicher sind.

Die Schalen 60x50 cm und 80x70 cm sind Ausnahmen. Diese sind zwar für den Außenbereich geeignet, haben aber kein Drainage-Loch, sodass sie nicht frostsicher sind.

TERRACOTTA
Domani's own high-quality clay is made from a kaolin base with special properties. When fired, the clay fuses so that water absorption is practically impossible. Domani's terracotta absorbs no more than 3 to 4% water. This low water content ensures that our pottery is frost-proof .

The bowls 60x50 cm and 80x70 cm are exceptions. Although these are suitable for outdoor use, they do not have a drainage hole, so they are not frost-proof .
