All hardwood offers durability class 2 and can last up to 25 years. The use of hardwood creates a planter that blends perfectly into the greenery of your garden.

The greying of the planters does not affect their quality. In addition, only high-quality stainless steel fasteners are used for assembly. The bottom is covered with a root-resistant cloth.

Important notes:

Products should be unpacked immediately upon receipt to prevent moisture from accumulating between the packaging and the product. This can lead to stains that are difficult to remove.
Every type of (hard)wood turns grey under the influence of sun, weather and wind. The final colour also depends on the initial colour of the hardwood.
Wood is a natural product that shrinks or expands depending on temperature and moisture content. Regular oiling of the wood stabilises the moisture content and reduces shrinking and expansion. We recommend using Woca oil for this purpose.
Stainless steel screws are used. Like almost all woods, hardwood reacts to contact with iron. This can lead to severe discolouration that can look like mould.
When using tools (bits and drills), you should remove metal splinters beforehand.
Avoid contact with lawn fertiliser and cement (these contain traces of iron).
The planter cannot be moved once filled.

Planting tips:

Fill the container with approx. 10 cm of hydro pellets.
Place a permeable anti-root cloth over it.
Apply the appropriate soil for your type of planting on top.
