What are the benefits of the gelcoat finish?

The Adezz Carrez fiberglass planter features a gelcoat finish originally developed for marine applications, which is water-, blister-, scratch- and weather-resistant.

Is a watertight version available?

The Adezz Carrez fiberglass planter is not watertight by default. A watertight version can be ordered as an option, but according to the manufacturer, it is not intended for pond applications.

How should the planter be cared for?

The Adezz Carrez fiberglass planter should be treated with Cleaner & Protector immediately upon delivery and at least three times a year thereafter. Pressure washers and abrasive sponges must not be used.

What happens at the end of its service life?

According to the manufacturer, polyester can be recycled or upcycled; the same applies to the Adezz Carrez fiberglass planter.

The Adezz Carrez is a square fiberglass planter with a gelcoat finish.

Gelcoat originally comes from marine applications and is resistant to water, scratches, and the elements; the color is consistent throughout the material. Edge lengths from 400 to 2000 mm and heights up to 1200 mm range from a side planter at the seating area to a tall block in the roof garden.

Our high-quality fibreglass planters combine lightness and stability and are ideal for year-round use indoors and outdoors. Thanks to the double reinforcement, these planters are durable and resistant to deformation. The double-rolled edge provides extra safety and an aesthetic finish.

Benefits of the fibreglass planters:

Weatherproof and extra stable: Our planters withstand cold temperatures and keep their shape.
Easy drainage: With pre-marked areas for drainage holes and an integrated drainage channel, you can adapt the planters ideally to your site. Install an overflow pipe to drain excess water in a targeted way and avoid waterlogging.
Easy care: Clean the planters at least twice a year with a soft cloth. Please do not use pressure washers or scouring sponges, in order to protect the surface coating.

Planting tips:

Insert the overflow pipes into the drilled drainage holes.
Fill the bottom with a layer of hydro pellets (approx. 10 cm).
Place a permeable anti-root fleece on top of the pellets.
Add the soil of your choice and make sure the drainage remains clear.

Notes on positioning and care:
For optimum durability, always place the planters on a level surface and avoid resting them directly on beams or stones. After unpacking, the planters should be set up straight away to avoid moisture damage to the surface.
