“BUIT means vacuum in Valencian, apt because we considered it an ultra-light aluminum fabric that could be a carpet or, by deforming it, a sofa, a chaise longue, a table… from the beginning we thought that this fabric would be perfect to be intertwined with textiles and create a contrast between materials: the cold of aluminum and the warmth of textiles. BUIT responds to the essence and DNA of the Gandia Blasco Group, aluminum and textiles, present since its beginnings in 1941. We believe that this collection represents its history.” - Mayice Studio

Design and R&D. BUIT is the collection by Mayice Studio for GANDIABLASCO. The BUIT coffee table is an outdoor table made of welded aluminum mesh, available in all the brand's powder-coated finishes. The density and grid spacing are carefully calculated: a lower mesh thickness would cause the piece to not function properly. The result is a very light and manageable design table that, thanks to its hollow structure, seems to float above the ground.

BUIT provides visual lightness. As it is a shaped aluminum sheet, its visual impact on the space is less than that of other volumetric furniture. It is easy to combine and integrate into spaces. It is ultra-light: the mesh allows water to disappear very quickly and dust does not settle.

The BUIT coffee table is an exclusive design by Mayice Studio for GANDIABLASCO.
