Beschreibung

Der Wasserblock aus Cortenstahl ist ein einzigartiges Ornament für Gärten. Die Edelstahldüse mit LED-Beleuchtung in der oberen Platte lässt das Wasser aufsprudeln. Das Wasser fließt dann gleichmäßig an den Seiten des Blocks hinunter in das unterirdische Auffangbecken, aus dem es dann wieder hochgepumpt wird. Die LED-Beleuchtung sorgt bei Dunkelheit für zusätzliche Atmosphäre.

Die Farbe des Cortenstahls ist orange-braun und verleiht dem Wasserblock ein warmes und kraftvolles Aussehen. Sie entsteht durch eine natürliche Rostschicht. Ein anderer Name für Cortenstahl ist wetterfester Stahl: Witterungsbedingungen haben nämlich einen positiven Einfluss auf dieses Material.

Cortenstahl ist eine Metalllegierung, die aus Eisen besteht, dem Kupfer, Phosphor, Silizium, Nickel und Chrom zugesetzt sind. Wenn das Material der Außenluft freigesetzt wird, überzieht es sich im Laufe der Zeit mit einer schützenden Rostschicht. Diese natürliche Rostschicht bildet den Schutz vor weiterer Korrosion. Das sorgt für eine lange Lebensdauer der Wasserblöcke.

· Die Produkte sollten sofort nach Erhalt ausgepackt werden, damit sich keine Feuchtigkeit zwischen der Verpackung und dem Produkt sammelt. Das kann zu ungleichmäßigen Rostflecken führen.

· Die Produkte kommen ohne Rostschicht. Der Rostvorgang auf Cortenstahl dauert je nach Witterungsbedingungen etwa 4-5 Monate.

· Rost kann durch Auftragen von Owatrol beseitigt werden. Das ist ein eindringendes Rostschutzmittel, das eine Schutzschicht gegen Rost bildet. Owatrol schützt und verhindert, dass der Cortenstahl abfärbt.

· Während des Rostvorgangs kann sich Rostwasser vom Produkt lösen.

· Die Wasserelemente sollten auf einer festen, ebenen Fläche aufgestellt werden.

· Der PH-Wert des Wassers sollte neutral (7) sein, damit das Material nicht angegriffen wird.

· Die Pumpe kann verstopfen, wenn Grünabfälle in den Wasserblock gelangen. Sie sind leicht zu öffnen und zu reinigen. Prüfen Sie nach der Reinigung der Springbrunnen auch die Pumpe auf Verstopfungen. Falls erforderlich, kann ein Filter zwischen Pumpe und Springbrunnen eingesetzt werden.

· Wir raten davon ab, Cortenstahl in einem Umkreis von 2 km zur Küste zu verwenden.

· Reinigen Sie das Produkt jährlich, indem Sie grobe Verschmutzungen mit Leitungswasser abspritzen.

  • Verwendung im Winter

· Senken Sie den Wasserstand bis unter das Überlaufrohr. Dies ist etwa 10 cm unterhalb des Randes. Achtung! Die Pumpe muss untergetaucht sein.

· Ziehen Sie bei Frost immer den Stecker aus der Steckdose.

· Wir empfehlen einen frostsicheren Behälter. Dieser kann in Gartencentern oder Baumärkten erworben werden.

Corten steel water block is a unique ornament for gardens. The stainless steel nozzle with LED lighting in the top plate causes the water to bubble up. The water then flows evenly down the sides of the block into the underground collecting basin, from which it is then pumped back up. The LED lighting provides additional atmosphere in the dark.

The color of the Corten steel is orange-brown and gives the water block a warm and powerful look. It is caused by a natural layer of rust. Another name for Corten steel is weatherproof steel: weather conditions have a positive influence on this material.

Corten steel is a metal alloy consisting of iron to which copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium are added. When the material is released into the outside air, it becomes covered with a protective layer of rust over time. This natural rust layer provides protection against further corrosion. This ensures a long service life for the water blocks.

Important instructions:

  • Products should be unpacked immediately upon receipt to prevent moisture from collecting between the packaging and the product. This can lead to uneven rust spots.
  • The products come without a layer of rust. The rusting process on Corten steel takes around 4-5 months depending on the weather conditions.
  • Rust can be eliminated by applying Owatrol. This is a penetrating rust inhibitor that forms a protective layer against rust. Owatrol protects and prevents the Corten steel from staining.
  • During the rusting process, rust water can come off the product.
  • The water elements should be placed on a solid, flat surface.
  • The pH value of the water should be neutral (7) so that the material is not attacked.
  • The pump can become clogged if green waste enters the water block. They are easy to open and clean. After cleaning the fountains, also check the pump for blockages. If necessary, a filter can be inserted between the pump and the fountain.
  • We do not recommend using Corten steel within 2km of the coast.
  • Clean the product annually by hosing off any coarse dirt with tap water.

Use in winter

  • Lower the water level to below the overflow pipe. This is about 10cm below the edge. Danger! The pump must be submerged.
  • Always remove the plug from the socket when it is frosty.
  • We recommend a frost-proof container. This can be purchased at garden centers or hardware stores.

Since the large water block cannot be unloaded via the rear tail lift due to its size, a forklift truck must be on site upon delivery, with which the customer must unload the pallet independently.
