·Products should be unpacked immediately upon receipt to prevent moisture from accumulating between the packaging and the product. This can lead to uneven rust spots.

·The products come without a layer of rust. The rusting process on Corten steel takes about 4-5 months, depending on the weather conditions.

·Rust can be removed by applying Owatrol. This is a penetrating rust inhibitor that forms a protective layer against rust. Owatrol protects and prevents the Corten steel from discolouring.

·During the rusting process, rust water can be released from the product.

·The water elements should be placed on a solid, level surface.

·The pH value of the water should be neutral (7) so that the material is not attacked.

·The pump can become clogged if green waste gets into the water block. They are easy to open and clean. After cleaning the fountains, also check the pump for blockages. If necessary, a filter can be placed between the pump and the fountain.

·We advise against using Corten steel within 2 km of the coast.

·Clean the product annually by spraying off coarse dirt with tap water.

·Lower the water level to below the overflow pipe. This is about 10 cm below the edge. Attention! The pump must be submerged.

·Always unplug the appliance when it is freezing.

·We recommend a frost-proof container. These can be purchased at garden centers or hardware stores.
