Beach chair manufacturing has a nearly century-long tradition in Pomerania, over 85 of those years in Heringsdorf, and since 2009 at Strandkorbfabrik Heringsdorf GmbH. Production is still carried out traditionally, entirely by hand. The selection of materials – woods (local pine or teak), wickerwork (UV-stable and easy-care), and fabrics (100% polyacrylic) – as well as their processing and finishing, lays the foundation for the quality and longevity of our beach chairs.
