Care Instructions – Aton Lights
- Wipe aluminum: Regularly wipe the housings with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive or scouring agents that could damage the powder coating.
- Clean light-emitting surfaces: Clean glass panes or acrylic glass covers with a soft cloth as needed to maintain full light output.
- Check cable connection: Annually check cable connections and terminals for tightness and corrosion. IP65 protects the luminaire itself, not external connection points.
- Check light source: LED light sources have a long lifespan. In case of failure, please contact Unopiù customer service – do not attempt self-repair of the LED unit.
- Protect powder coating: In case of mechanical damage to the coating (scratches), immediately treat with a protective agent to prevent corrosion.
- Winter operation: Aton can remain outdoors all year round. In extreme temperature differences, condensation may form inside the housing – this is normal for IP65 luminaires and not a defect.
